Yesterday i had on/off pains to my left side they were slightly uncomfortable but bearable.
Today i woke up and they were really painful constantly.
I phoned doc who couldn't fit me in so called number in my book who told me to go straight to A and E.
I went straight away, they said it may be an ectopic pregnancy but needed a scan to see for sure.
MY local hospital next available appointment was next wednesday and the next hospital after that was tomorrow and i just couldnt wait so i paid and had a private scan this afternoon.
Everything is fine, measuring well, maybe a couple of days out but the pain is due to a 4.5cm cyst on my ovary.
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought i would share with you guys.
I am very relieved though that my bubba is ok and could see a heartbeat and everything its amazing

You had to go private to get a scan?

I had the same thing, was rushed through A&E at 3am, scanned at 8am and operated on at 1pm. It turned out not to be ectopic but I can't believe they suspected it and were going to let you wait!

Thank goodness it wasn't though, what do they do now about the cyst? Sounds quite painful.

Glad you are okay. I'm sorry you have to add stress to your pg. I hope things get worked out quickly with this cyst. OUCH!!

glad to hear bean is fine and well. Do you have to get the cyst removed? or is it too risky, or will it disappear naturally? Hope the pain stops!
