can i take cymalon?

I have really bad cystitis, just literally come on and so can't see a doctor until tomorrow - can I take cymalon or any other otc rememdies?

If you have the tablets, then no. I just looked up the product information for you and it is prohibited during pregnancy and lactation.

There is also a Cranberry Liquid and recommendation is to avoid during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary & only on the advice of a doctor.

Should have said this was in reference to cymalon! No advice on any OTC meds, I'm afraid.

I've been getting bad cystitis on and off. If you drink a lot of water, that tends to clear it, and steer clear of acidy drinks. I'm not sure if you can take medication, but it might be worth a trip to the doctors as they can probably prescibe something that's safe. Or ask the pharmacist - they are usually pretty knowledgeable about these things. Hope it clears up.

You poor thing. Drink plenty of cranberry juice or maybe phone doctor to just presribe a prescription of something you can take.
