Im 5 weeks and 2 days today with my third child (4th pregnancy), i have my midwife appt @ 7 weeks and 2 days and then what happens??? Is it normal to see her this early. Doc said for booking in.
My girl is 9 and my little boy is 4 and 1/2 and it has changed both times when i was pregnant with them...seems it has changed again????

And i heard you dont get a 30week scan now??? Some answers if you can.

I dont know how it used to be (1st pregnancy) but i had my midwife appointment at 6 weeks, a 12 week scan another appointment at 16 weeks and a 20 week scan and then i see the m/w every 4 weeeks but no more scans unless you go private or there is complications. I know that in some parts of scotland they dont even give you a 20 week scan only a 12 week one. lol hope this helps xxx

Thanks ema...im in northern ireland and we used to get scanned at 30 weeks as well as the usual 12 weeks. I did get an early scan with my little boy as i had a m/c a few months before....and also threatened to m/c him @ 10 weeks wondering if maybe they are just taking precautions....hope they are as im feeling nervous because im so early on...but it seems completely normal...i think
