How many weeks were you when you decided to tell family and friends that you're pregnant?

My sister and my in laws know so far, but that's it. I was thinking about telling people at 8 weeks, as I'll have had my scan so will know if everything is ok.

I'm telling people 12 weeks+

i think mine was 3+6 lolol.....every one knew i was ttc so i just couldnt keep it in lol i had to tel people x x x

I was going to wait til I have my 12 week scan, but my OH told all his family at about 7 1/2 weeks and I told mine about 2 weeks ago.

I told all close family at 6 weeks but my dad was so excited about becoming a granddad he told everyone and there mother about 8 weeks. we had a scan at 10 weeks aswell and after that my OH was telling everyone in the pub he met i remember standing in the chippy at 11pm and a man and woman walking in and saying congrats and giving me a hug lol xxx

I'm 5 weeks today and have so far told 2 best friends, OH's best friend and brother and my boss.

All these people 'needed' to know for one reason or another.

I have a scan in a couple of weeks so although it'll be early days still I think we're going to tell our parents then.

It's a difficult decision to make but i'm expecting extreme M/S to kick in around 7 weeks because I had it severely with my son and at that point there'll be no keeping it to ourselves.

Plus I used to drink and smoke every weekend before PG and will soon be re-joining my friends (not been out since ) who will pretty much know that the only thing that would come between me and my drink is a baby

I told people a few days after I knew really. Both thought we couldn't conceive so was too happy not to tell people. :0D

We told both sets of parents straight away and then were going to wait to tell every one else, but within a couple of days everyone knew....we just couldnt keep the secret...we were both just too excited!

I told friends and family straight away ...

I dont really see much point in waiting to tell people, plus after all the time i had been trying i was ecstatic and dying to tell people
