Spots

They are everywhere!!! All over my face, my chest and back and my neck!!!

I've never had spots so bad, not even in my teens.

I've got one above my lip to the left, and it's like a BOIL!!!! It started as a bump and now it's so sore and red.

Is anyone else suffering like this?

And does anyone have any tips for calming them down?

Hello Quaizer, mine's dry too. Oo maybe it's the moisturiser I'm using. I know spots are expected but I'm a lil bit bored of it now

How are things for you? You haven't started a pregnancy journal, are you waiting?

Which moisturiser are you using? I keep switching between nivea, olay anti wrinkle lol and a bodyshop one. I think it may be a case of waiting for your hormones to settle down properly.

Journal! Im gagging to start one but Im not sure if I should hang on for my scan on the 26th to make sure my EDD is right

My boobs are really stinging tonight and Im hungry all the time. Never had that before, had loads of sickness from about 4 weeks. Theres still time though lol!

Any ideas what sex youd like? xx

I've been using a cheapy sensitive skin one from Asda. But I usually don't need it so it's just one I found that I'd bought for emergencys. I've had it aaages. I'll probably go and invest in a better one when I get paid. The simple range used to be good for me but it's so pricey!!

I use a night cream for round my eyes though, I have been since I was 18 because that's where my wrinkles are starting to show!! The boots No.7 is good for this but more expensive than the simple range!!

Is your scan this month? You must be really excited!! It's quite early to have one though?? You'll be only 7 weeks.

Do you know what sex you want yet? I think I'm leaning towards a boy now.

xx

I'm with you on this one! Much spottier than usual and even found a couple on my shoulders and neck.

I tried a clay facemask last night which seems to have done a little bit of good. I'm going to try this twice a week in the hope it settles the spots down a little.

Ah well, its probably a good sign that all is well with bubbas as the hormones are raging through our bodies!

Oo you just reminded me of the lush facemasks I used to use. Hey, I might try them again. It'll be better than using the hydrogen peroxide facewipes I have :/

Red Rose - Think I'll give the clay ago!!

Moomad - Ive used the asda one and I quite like it, I'll need to save my points for the No. 7 one lmao!!

I have 2 boys age 5 and 2 and they are wonderful! Boys are really affectionate and so protective of their mums! Feel like Im using up all my wishing dust just hoping for a healthy baby, but a change might be nice this time although knowing how lovely boys are, Id be just as happy with another boy.

From 26th March I'll have a scan every month as I have medical complications and my youngest son didnt grow well because of it and I had to be induced at 37 weeks as it wasnt safe to continue. I have lupus which is an auto-immune disease and can affect tissues and organs. Hopefully LO will be all good this time as my health is better in general.

Im still contemplating starting a journal soon tho xx

EDIT: I love lush stuff, I swear by therapy massage bar for dry skin!
