Nearly 12 wks and NOT showing. Should i be worried?

My friend who is about the same build as me slim but with a small "beer belly" said she started showing at about 9 weeks with her 1st. This has got me worried.. Its also my 1st and i had a scan at ten weeks when all seemed fine, not booked in for another till 20 weeks. Thats a long ol wait! When do you girl think i'll start showing... when did you?!

Trying to put this worried mind at ease. I know its still small but i'd expect a tiny bump!!

Totally normal not to be showing yet. I'm 12 weeks and I'm not showing - my pants are just getting tight. I think 16-20ish weeks is the normal.

I didn't show until about 16 weeks! don't worry hun! Your uterus just now is above your pelvic bone

Completely normal. You dont really show at 12 weeks anyway its just bloat. But with my first I was nearly 5months before I started to show.

I didn't show until around 16 weeks! I all depends on where your womb lies I think, some peoples are further in ur back, my best friend didn't show at all until 5 months x

ur friend wasnt showin at 9 weeks she was bloated. the uterus doesnt come out of the pubic bone til around 12 weeks. i was a size 6-8 before with a flat, toned stomach andi only strted showin at around 16 weeks.. the other weeks was bloat

I'm fairly petite (5'5, 123lbs, low bodyfat, very athletic) and didn't show until 16-17 weeks. "Showing" is more to do with your body structure. She might be slim, but you could have a completely different body on the inside.

Your uterus is still below your pelvic bone until 12 weeks- you probably won't 'show' until at least 16 weeks xx

I'm showing just now - there's no way I could hide it - MW confirmed it is bump as bloat went down at 9 weeks

My cousin is a skinny thing and didn't show till 7 months!!
