I'm Currently Feeling: | Your uterus How do you feel where the edge of your uterus is? I mean what does it feel like? I've got this incredibly hard spot right above my belly button that kind of hurts to touch. That isn't it, right?? I am concerned about how far along I am because I think my dates are horribly wrong, so I'm trying to just figure out if its still under my belly button or above. I can't feel anything weird below though.
I'll ask my doctor when I see her on May 8th, but I'm just curious to see if I can feel it myself. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Im 19 weeks and i can feel mine at my belly button but it does not hurt to touch its just hard where as higher up in spongy and i can push in also because it is that high i can feel my baby kick every day and can feel it with my hand. It depends if your 4 weeks out that would make you 12 weeks??? your uterus would only just be coming out your pelvic bones i think. but its defo not above your bellow button until about 20 weeks. xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Your uterus always starts in your pelvis, right up until birth. As your baby grows the uterus extends upwards and later outwards. Some of the things online as misleading because it makes it sound like your uterus physically moves up into your stomach lol
By 12 weeks it would have extended to about your belly button. But it is soft and squishy like everything in your abdomen lol. So its pretty hard to feel unless your a trained medical worker and know anatomy very well.
You might be able to feel it laying down, but its still hard to follow still even at 12 weeks. Im almost 13 weeks and I cant feel anything. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Okay, I just wanted to make sure that what I was feeling wasn't my uterus because that would be wayyy far up and mean I was way way way way wayyy too far ahead. I'm just going to wait to see my doctor instead of stressing myself out. Maybe its my stomach muscles stretched or something. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I posted a thread about this a week or so ago as I have the same thing and wondered what it was! I'm just thinking it's something to do with pregnancy as I never did find out the reason x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | At 12 weeks the uterus is just above the pubic bone. It doesn't reach the belly button until 20 weeks. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | That picture is a bit inaccurate. It gives the right idea of how the uterus grows, but isnt accurate as to where on the body it extends.
Plus, everyone is different, and everyons torso is a different length. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You normally can't feel it till at least 12 weeks (for me 14 weeks) and then it's still down very low. It reaches your belly button at about 20 weeks. You can feel the top of it as a ridge or bump. |

Mine is still below my belly button - they say its at the belly button at about 20 weeks - that would make your dates extremely wrong!!! |
