Scan tomorrow after brown spotting/discharge - Page 2

Goodluck, I'll be thinking about you.

I had three days of staining last week and ended up in casualty. The first day they did a scan and I got to see the baby. I was six weeks exactly. Next scan is on Friday. I too am so worried, praying that I'll see a heartbeat. Will be thinking about you

Hi Claire911. Firstly best of luck tomorrow i hope you have the best of news. Im new here and came across this thread. I also have brown spotting very light im 8 wks and 4 days..ive done a lot of research on this and though everybody is different it seems that this is normal to the majority of ladies, as long as it stays brown and doesnt go red. Appearantly its something to do with cleaing out any old blood..Anyway hope this has put you even at a little ease and will look forward to hear how you got on.

I had brown discharge at what I thought was 12w 1day I had a scan the day after which was my nuchal and I was 13 weeks! Everything was fine.

I got told that in the latter stages of the first trimester there maybe old blood discarded due to what the baby used to be protected with but is no longer needed.

I hope this gives you the positive thoughts you need. Let us know how you get on.
