Yep same with me, even last night when we had tea, i couldnt eat any of mine and what mhat my husband was eating made we want to be sick. I ended up having a bowl of cereal which is what I have found is my safe food when I cant face anything else. I am hoping once i get past the 12 week stage I will get back to normal and wont look at food and think omg how can I or you eat that.

It is normal Vicky, I have found through out my pregnancy my appetite comes and goes. Just make sure to keep your water intake up, and eat just a bit here and there, and you will be fine.

i'm having this same problem Vicki. Have you tried the smoothies and did they work?

the other night I had a bowl of plain white rice - so not much nutrition really - and that took the edge off the nausea for about half an hour (long enough to do some washing up!) but then it was back again. And it was torture trying to force it down. Even my prenatal tab is making me retch.

Yeah I went with a smoothie in the end, and it did work for about an hour then it was back to the usual routine. It seems to be the only thing working at the minute.

It is fairly normal to lose your appetite. I lost mine as well in the first tri, came back a little better around 13-14weeks and has gone again. was reading through my baby book last night and it said its more than likely you will loose it again at the start of the 2nd tri
