I've written a few threads that sound similar to this! From what I've read its not unusual to start m/s later on than most, even at 12 weeks. Mine started at 5 and week 9 has been the worst. Today is a bit better

My widwife is as much use as a chocolate teapot - luckily I have a fantastic doctor. He prescribed promethazine. Not really sure how well its worked since I've still been very sick on it, but its worth trying. Also, benadryl and vitamin B6 are often used. (check with doc/midwife first!). There is also a drug called Zofran that doctors are reluctant to use due to cost but at least you know there are things out there that can take the edge off. This website has lots of information www.helpher.org

This is really tough, but we're in it together, and supposedly it really does mean a healthy pregnancy (or two, in my case!)
