I've managed to get myself an early scan.

By my reckoning i'm 5 weeks tommorow so I assume they'll only be able to tell me if the pregnancy is in the right place....

I would imagine that all they can check is that it is the correct size and in the correct place this early on, but i'm no doctor, so i could be wrong. The heart doesn't start beating until about 6 weeks, so don't panic if they say "no heartbeat".

When I went for my 5 weeks 3 days scan you could only just see it no heart beat or anything. Good luck though xx

I'm not expecting to see much...unless my dr's are right about me being further along but i'm fairly sure they're not.

Just be nice to find out who is right

At five weeks they probably will be able to see the yolk sac, fetal pole and where the baby has implanted. You don't normally see the heartbeat till about 6/7 weeks along.
