So sorry to hear about your bad day.
I am assuming that you don't live in the UK as there are laws here that says your boss can't fire you for being pregnant.

I believe that Thrush is quite common during pregnancy. You should be able to get something for it that is safe to use.

Don't appoligise for Ranting. It does you good to have a good rant.

Hmm tricky,
I would go to Citizens Advice and ask them. I was reading yesterday about rights etc and it says that it doesn't matter how long you have been working for them. Also that if they can't find you a suitable job within, i.e. no lifting then they have to suspend you on full pay. I don't know what difference it makes as you were on a trial. I would definetely look into it as if it is deemed they shouldn't have fired you then you should still be entitled to Statutary maternity pay.

Don't let the ******* win!!!
Good Luck

that is rubbish!!! and (coming from a lawyer) completely illegal. There is no qualifying period for protection as to maternity rights. YOur boss needs to do a full risk assessment and if you cant do your job any more he needs to find one that you can do. IF there isnt one he has to suspend you on full pay!!!! My advice is do not leave! YOu will loose your rights to SMP and will struggle to find another job. Id get back in contact with himand explain and if he doesnt comply then thats AUTOMATIC unfair dismissal and he could be looking at paying your losses and compesation through an application to the employment tribunal. Note though that you only have 3 months to make the application.

Hope that helps!

I don't think he can dismiss you either because you're pregnant. I'd raise hell.

For the thrush, my doctor told me to eat plain yougurt and see if it clears it up in a day or so. I'm prone to this...so she said yougurt, then if that doesn't work use an external cream, and if that doesn't work go to your doctor and they will prescribe something.
