small pelvis

I am 10w4d pregnant and at my first appointment my OB did a pelvic exam and said my pelvis isn't slanted or anything like that, its just small. What complications during birth could there be? I come from a family that has a history of bigger babies, I was 10lbs, my dad was 11lbs, and his dad was 13lbs! Also, my fiance's daughter was 9lbs. If the baby is measuring big would they induce me a bit earlier or might I have to get a C-Section? Will this make the birth harder for me?

All the my OB said was "just don't have a 10lbs baby and you should be alright".

my cousin had the same issue while preggie with her daughter and they made her have a C-Section and said there was no other option...if your baby is also super small for whatever reason they might check before and decide to let you try and go vaginal but if you baby is measuring big they will prolly set you up for a C-section to reduce possible complications... good luck either way!!!

ha ha yeah I just searched for threads with no answers and saw March and didnt even look at the year lol..lol....glad that all went ok though!!
