Is it safe to tan?

Hi Ladies,

I've been feeling very grose, ugly and fat at 9 weeks. I used to tan and I know how good that made me feel. Is it safe to go to the tanning bed when you're pregnant?

Hi there, I am not an expert at all but I used to work at a tanning bed shop and pregnany ladies were a big NO NO as customers. Cant tell you the exact reason why tho, sorry. What about faking it? x

I actually saw a sign at the tanning bed that said " must have Dr. permission before tanning pregnant" I asked the lady, if pregnant women really tanned, and she said yeah all the time. I couldnt believe a Dr. would really write permission slips for women to tan, it seems unsafe to me, but I dont know???
