Blood in sick?

I've just done my normal and thrown up and it's the normal watery yacky horrible yellow morning sickness sick but I noticed it had bits of blood in it!

Do I need to see a doctor or is this from being sick so much and I have just upset my stomach?

It could be how does your throat feel? The acid could of burnt your esophagus lining? Can you phone a mid wife or doctor about it? If it gets worse Id go in and get seen but try phoning.

My throat feels fine, I had 2 bad days of throwing up all day Wednesday and Thursday last week but since then I have only been sick once or twice in the morning before I have had anything to eat so I'm guessing that's straining me more because there actually isn't anything to come up?

I will ring my midwife today and see what she says, no point wasting a doctors appointment!

I have had it before with sickness bugs, its from your esophagus its fine as long as there is only a tiny bit mixed in with the sick. if you start throwing up lots of bright blood then its straight to A&E

Get it checked out anyway, I expect it is just because you are throwing up so hard.
It could also be bleeding gums, I notice blood when i spit when i am doing my ms thing, and that is coming from my gums!
I get more nose bleeds too, all pregnancy related.

It's not my gums yet.

I rang my midwife and was told I have to go to the doctors as i might need to be admitted to hospital to be put on a drip!

Hiya

Hope your feeling a bit better...

I suffered (and still suffer) from terrible sickness. I was bringing up blood too. I called M/W who told me to see my doc, he prescribed me some gaviscon! i found this helped quite a bit. He said that where i was being so 'S' i have most likely torn something and that i should only worry if there is lots of blood or only blood.

Ever since (touch wood) there has been no more blood.

Hope this helps

xx
