Rollercoasters...

This is probably going to be a big N-O but i will ask anyway hehe

We want to go to Sea World amusement park while we are here to hang out and ride their rollercoasters and I was just thinking....could I? I love rollercoasters but I don't want to cause harm to growing bump. I could tell myself it's still so early and I don't have a proper bump yet but that's just being ignorant lol...

so is it safer I stay off them?

Roller coasters (and any amusement park rides) are a big no-no, sorry to tell you.

Yep I've heard the same - although I don't know why. I can understand later on when you could hit your bump on the bars and stuff but to start with the baby is well tucked away and safe.

What about slow gentle water ride? like where they have a raft that goes in a big circle... you're not strapped in, no major drops, pretty gentle ride.

What I was told is that the force of the rides can cause the placenta to rip. Sorry I wish you could go on them too. We had a little carnival in town and I wanted to cry every time I drove by it.

I researched this. Its not recommended i was gonna go to a theme park with my OH's relatives but decided not to go cause I'm not gonna pay a certain amount and not be able to go on everything. Not worth it

ah well i will probably just play it safe and play with the dolphins. Atleast it is Sea World and they have other things such as the dolphins and whale shows.
