Question

What should i do to make my preganat girlfriend feel special

hi,
my girlfriend is 6 weeks
when she told me i didnt know how to react, i really really like her infact i love her, i said to her i would support any decision she made, we are keeping it , im getting really excited about it and my first priority is to start driving so there-fore i can support the family ... oh yeah btw im 16 young i know, i dont know what these forums are like but i dont want anyone giving here opinions on how bad or whatever... i have no time for it ...
but anyway
What i want to know is how do i make the experience as good as possible for my girlfriend ...

Thanks in advance for any replys

I think just being there for her and supporting her through the rollercoster of emotions and hormones will be everything she needs....

good on you sweety! These forums are a great way to find out info!!! I agree...go to the bookstore and get some books on pregnancy and fatherhood! A really great one for guys is called "My boys can swim!" I cant remember who wrote it (but it was a guy!) its very informative and funny! You will enjoy it! I got it for my hubby! And he thought it was great! There aren't too many books out there on what its like being a father! So get some for yourself as well as your gf!

Also just some advice...dont pressure her to if she doesnt feel like it! She will most likely be feeling nauseous and the thought of it, may make her want to throw up! No offfense! DONT TAKE OFFENSE TO THE THINGS SHE SAYS OR DOES!!!!! ITS HORMONAL!

Oh, and one more thing (I have already got a little boy...so I know!!!) NEVER...UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES...SAY "YOU'RE JUST BEING HORMAONAL!!" them are fighting words!!!!!!! :grrr: But if she has a sore back give her a massage (and tell her that you arent just doing it so you can ) ....Trust me she will appreciate it!

Hang in there...you are going to be a great dad ok? Doesnt matter how old you are...thats beside the point!
and keep us posted on how things are going! If you arent sure about something, just ask! We are all here to help!

I think that the fact you are on here and asking questions, already shows that you are going to be a great Dad.
My advice would be to do as much for your gf as possible. Get her drinks and snacks when she wants them. Surprise her with flowers or a maybe a teddybear for the baby.

The other ladies are right, your gf maybe emotional or snappy at you for no apparant reason, try to be patient with her and remember that it isn't her talking it's the massive surge of hormones she has at the moment.

buying a book is also another great idea, shows her that you are really up for it and support her.

Good Luck.

Hi Rob. Dont worry, no one is going to judge you on being young etc. I know that some people can be narrow-minded but you wont find those sort on here. Have a read around of the other forums and you'll see that we're all 100% supportive of eachother, no matter what age, colour etc.

What mose women crave from their men during pregnancy is support and understanding. A slong as you have those two qualities you cant go wrong!!

Good luck.

As has been said above - the fact you're on here asking this question should make your gf feel pretty special! It shows you care and want to do the best for her.

Just be there! She'll have both good and bad days - if you can be there consistently supporting her it'll be what she needs.

Oh and flowers etc - they always go down well
