does anyone else look at baby stuff now?

I always refrained while TTC, but having just found out we are expecting in November, DH and I sat and reviewed our finances and then got a bit carried away looking at catalogues to give ourselves a budget!

I also bought a pregnancy book and magazine yesterday as I feel I know nothing!

Hope i'm not jinxing anything - I see it as being informed!

I gave in and bought a blanket and some vests 2day!! Have wanted to do it for a few weeks but never dared incase I was tempting fate

I don't think it jinxes or temps fate in any way

we've not bought anything yet but we've decided on what things we're going to buy, there is nothing wrong with buying things early

Im definatley gonna start buying more bits soon

mainly as the drop in my wage means we need to do some serious saving too and my DD is off to high school in September adding to the mounting outgoings

We've looked at stuff, but don't think I would want to buy anything just yet, just in case. My nan, however, has already started crotcheting a baby blanket haha. She also has a baby roo blanket she bought for someone else... But I begged her to keep it for me in the future lol. My aunty gave me a really nice snowsuit years ago to keep for the future. She said it was too nice to give to charity lol. Which is handy, seeing as how Im due in November and if next winter is anything like this one was, then poor bairn is going to need it lol.

So although I haven't actually bought anything myself, there are a few bits kicking about at my nans house that she is keeping hidden from me lol. No harm in looking and setting a budget!

I'm always looking, too nervous to buy anything though...

The best I've done is two pregnancy magazines, I was really nervous when I bought them, as with my last pregnancy the day before I started bleeding (MC) I had finally been brave enough to buy a pregnancy mag.

I can't wait to buy some sleepsuits and stuff..

i havent bought anything yet, but i had loads of magazines and nealry all the bits from my daughter (that sadly none of it ever got used). i have read through the magazines again, even though they are a bit out of date im sure not much changes which i couldnt even look at them at all whilst ttc, i will soon get down all the other stuff to see what elsse i need xx

I'm due 10/10/10 and i have been so naughty, i have almost everything brand new from my previous pregnancy but i have got a moses basket and bouncer today plis loads of knitted clothes and a car seat. I think what will be will be and you should enjoy every second of your pregnancy.

I haven't bought anything yet!! I was going to buy some vests but my brother stopped me and told me it was bad luck. I've got a saved search for cots on my ebay acccount which looks for auctions ending after my scan!! I'm hoping for a collection only bargain.
