This happended with me....my last LMP was 22 January making me 12 weeks and 2 days when i went for my "12 week scan" but turned out i was only 8 weeks and 5 days so pushed my due date forward a month!! I was disappointed too....excited to see the baby but disappointed i have further to wait to meet him/her!!!

I had the same thing we went for a dating scan after finally getting one as was unsure of dates and we thought we were 12 weeks but found out only 9! so I can understand your frustration as I had planned in my head how to tell everyone! We still told parents after the dating scan and brothers and sisters but unfortunatley I had my 30th birthday party the week after so had to dodge drinks and shots oh man! Most people guessed as unfortunately am normally party vino girl which didn't go in my favour trying to keep it quiet.

anyway hun keep your pecker up at least you and your man can keep your little secret between you for the next 4 weeks and get excited together xx

Awww i went through that too the doctor (and i) thought it was around 13weeks and i turned out to be only 10+1 I was really disapointed cos i also had said that i would tell people after the scan but then i couldn tell anyone. Also since they put me ONE day over meant that i didnt get another scan boo hoo!!
