When should i make appointments?

Hi ladies It's my first post here in first-tri! Had some questions...

Just got BFP 2 days ago, yesterday we left home for a vacation to relatives place. I FORGOT my prenatal vitamins and i am going to see if i can get more today but i feel SO GUILTY. If i miss taking them for a couple days, do you think that'll be ok? I am sure it will be...but i need some reassurance. I always forget SOMETHING when i go on trips, and of all things...my vitamins!

Also, I will be here for 2 weeks... should I make an appointment to see a doctor while here or wait until i get back (May 8~). I want to get a blood test too and all of that. Should I just wait it out until i get home?

Thanks

Congrats.
I called my doctors surgery to give them the good news and they said that they don't have to see me and made an appointment to see the midwife on the 7th of May when i will be 8+2. So i wouldn't worry until you get back.

As for missing a couple of days of your vits. At least you have been taking them and will continue when you get back, so you should be fine. There are plenty of women out there that i'm sure aren't taking them at all.

I wouldn't worry.

First congrats on your BFP.
I have only just booked my appointment and when i finally get to see my Midwife i will be 8 weeks and 4 days.
Don't worry too much about your vits you can just carry on taking them when you get home x

dont worry about the vits. If you like you could eat extra fruit and veggies to make yourself feel like you are compensating.

Congratulations!!

I wouldn't worry about your vitamins. I never took them before I got pregnant and regulary forgot them for days at a time in my first trimester. At one point I went about a week without taking them but you should be getting everything you need from your food anyway. Just keep your folic acid intake up by eating plenty of oranges and green veg.

As for your appointments, I don't know how it works where you live but it should be fine to wait till you get home. Here they don't usually see you till 7 or 8 weeks anyway.

You're fine without your prenatal vitamins for a couple of days, don't worry. I would wait until you get back and make an appointment with your regular doctor. They really don't do much at the early pregnancy appointments, just take your and your husband's history, maybe do bloodwork and/or a urine test, and let you ask any questions you have.
