Hi Samo!

Waiting a couple of days to make your appointment should be fine. Usually your midwife will want to see you around 8 -10 weeks to book you in for your first scan. I wouldn't leave it too late though - I phoned to book an appointment at 8 weeks thinking that it would be easy to book an appointment and didn't get one till I was nearly 11 weeks - I didn't get my '12 week scan' until I was over 14 weeks! The NHS are soooo busy in the UK.
