4-5 wks: does anyone else feel....

like it's all going to go wrong?

I'm literally terrified! I'm having quite alot of abdo discomfort/twinges since 7dpo particularly when sitting or wearing tight trousers! and i'm expecting every time I go to the loo to find blood.....

And when i'm not worrying about that - i'm worrying that i'll make it to my first scan only to find no baby and replaying the scene from Marley and Me in my head. I keep thinking about doing repeat PG tests over the next 7-8 weeks to check its still there!!!

DH is terrified too so we probably aren't helping matters! we get carried away talking about the future and then suddenly do the whole 'touch wood' thing.

I'm sure everyone feels like this - but would just like to hear you say it!!

xxxx

Hi im the same as you, its perfectly normal. I had a m/c back in Sept...it was very upsetting for me. I am worried but have tried to relax more now, there is no point in worrying unless something actually happens. Worrying is not good for you. I am sitting here typing this and i am experiencing AF type cramps...have not really had them since 22nd Feb-25th Feb (When i got my BFP). Its worrying me but i have taken so many tests and it wont change anything...i am pregnant until told otherwise by a doctor. Relax, have a nice cup of herbal tea or a glass of milk. I have been drinking alot of milk too.

Yup

I have been out in the garden today moving round like an old lady as I dont even want to stand up too quickly. I havent forgotten for a single moment since I got my BFP that I am pregnant, its all I think about even when I turn over in bed!

I feel exactly the same. Every single waking moment has been spent stressing. I actually would just like to forget that I'm pregnant for a bit but when I do get a brief respite from feeling nauseas and exhausted I start stressing again because I don't feel like crap. It's ridiculous.

I can't seem to concentrate on anything else. I've been as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike at work and not much better at home.

Got scan in a week and a half and each day is a mission to get through and I'm absolutely dreading it.

So, you're definitely not alone in how you're feeling!

Im 6 weeks tomorrow and every slight twinge I get, I worry about. I don't remember being like this with my first pregnancy 9 years ago. But I guess it's just everything getting comfortable and settling into place. I've found this forum brilliant though for reassurance.

Good luck everyone!

Absolutely, I had a mc back in December which happenned on the day of my scan! I already had a feeling the baby had died though, so this time Im panicing a bit.

But I do try to tell myself this: With ds, I wish id have just enjoyed the pregnancy, but then I know now it all ended well, I feel like Im wasting precious moments by thinking negatively, and I may as well try to enjoy it and think positively, I suppose I would rather enjoy, than not enjoy at all, even if its a bad outcome ifuswim?

I still feel that way now sometimes, although not as bad as in the very early days. It will get better but it won't totally go away for me until they put bubs in my arms!

I'm feeling like that at the moment! I just neeeeeeeed tomorrow to come round so I c an go to my first doc's appointment and bombard him with my worries lmao. After that I think I'll feel much better. AF would have been due tomorrow aswell, so I think that is stressing me out a little bit too. I think another couple weeks and I will feel a TINNNNYYYYYYY bit safer heh
