All Im managing to drink is warm water, milk and the occasional fruit tea tho I seem to be going off these aswell . Went off coffee before I did my test and have never been a tea drinker.

During my first round of morning sickness, 6 weeks to 9 weeks, I detested the taste of water but forced it at most times. After I got past that, I was able to drink it again without gagging.

I had this problem. I could just about manage ice cold water and sweet drinks (which then made my mouth taste horrible).

I posted this before. I used to drink at least half a litre of water before bed before my BFP but since it just makes me throw up. I can drink litres and litres of Vimto cordial though and have no effects. I'm still getting the water I need and it's got added vitamin C too.

Hey girls,
I hated water prepregnancy its so boring! Lol and I started to feel like the water tasted like prenatals! Lol ewl! So what helped me was drinking water that was like a slushie ice cold. Id put my water bottle in the freezer & let it freeze enough that I could crack the ice in the bottle & drink it like that. Maybe it might help someone also but it tasted so good like that! Nowadays I can drink water however room temperature or cold. Not a fan of the water slushie now. Weird?

Can't stomach water either, started to drink the fizzy fruit flavoured water but it's leaving a disgusting taste in my mouth. I can manage tea alright but have been so paranoid during the pregnancy I only drank it the once, felt guilty and haven't touched caffeine since!

Here's an idea for ya. Lemon is supposed to be really good for nausea. Try squeezing some lemon in your water. You really should drink water, be dehydrated can make nausea worse, and it will help with constipation too.

All I could drink was water in the first few weeks

TO the person worried about lucozade, thes nothing wrong with it it's an isotonic energy drink so it's glucose based not caffeine based, my midwife actually recomeded it to me because I needed the sugar

I found that if water isn't ice cold I can't drink it.

Lime cordial seems to work for me, only really weak but it is dead refreshing and I was told by someone in 3rd tri that it settles your stomach
