Has anyone heard anything about eye drops during pregnancy? I've got a severe head cold in my left eye/nostril and its really bad enough that I actually need to take something for it. I spoke to two pharmacists. One said eyedrops were okay, one said they weren't. They both said nasal spray was alright. Has anyone used eyedrops/been given the green light by their doctor for them? I'm visiting my parents for 2 weeks and its nearly impossible to get in to see a docotor.

I've been given the sodium cromoglycate eye drops by my doctor for hayfever, are these the kind you mean? She said they were fine in pregnancy for eyes, just don't drink them!

My OB said that eye drops were just fine (I get dry eyes from allergies)
