My advice is to enjoy the next couple of weeks....before the symptoms kick in and also not to worry about lack of, disappearing, and/or too many symptoms. Just keep in mind that every pregnancy is unique!

The other piece of advice I'd give is to get as much rest as you can. First trimester can be exhausting...don't feel bad for sleeping in or having a nap. You need it!

Welcome and congrats on your BFP I don't think I've been pregnant long enough to give advice, but I will offer this:

While I LOVE this site to pieces, I try to keep in mind that amidst so many women there are bound to be some MC's and it doesn't mean EVERYBODY is MCing and also that with so many posters here there is bound to be a range of experiences that don't match mine and that doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong. I am a big worry wart so I had to put it in perspective

Enjoy your first trimester!

Wow guys, that is some really good advice. Thank you so much. It's so easy to obsess over every little thing, isn't it!! I'm going to try to relax through this and be as chilled out as possible. I'm a little worried about work though... I suppose there's no easy way to hide being sick all the time :/

I told work early on, I just thought it would be easier and safer for me and baby.

Hmm.. Yeah, going to have to think about that - I work in an office so I should be able to hide it physically, I suppose it all depends how bad the morning sickness is. Watch this space!

I have my first doc appt this morning - very exciting - just going to see what I need to do from now really!

Congrats on the BFP, my piece of advice is to try not to compare symptoms, hcg levels etc with other ladies as they vary so much and symptoms come and go.

Congrats hun!!!! my advice to you is to chill out and take it easy. The first trimester is scary with worry, and I made it worse for myself by overexherting myself at work which got me a hematoma- all is better now lol, but I would def say just relax, and dont do anything u dnt wana do xxx

Oh no!! How scary - am so glad to hear it's all better now, but wow -definitely something you don't need at this point, thats for sure!!

Went to the doc today and she did a scan!! Couldn't see anything, but she's told me i'm 4 weeks along. which is two weeks further than I thought? I'm only 11dpo, wouldn't that make me two weeks or less?

In any case she did an internal scan - ovaries, cervix and uterus all looking good - she said sometimes you can see the baby this early but no dice. Not too worried, from what I have seen on this forum people have been told to not go for a scan till 12 weeks?

This confused me at the beginning, I thought how can I be this far along when I only ovulated then? They take your dates fromthe first day of your last period.
Mine was 7th January so I am due 14th October. HTH
