I know if I have a glass of water about 30mins later I really need to pee. So I am taking a bottle of water with me and drinking it on the way to the hospital then hopefully it won't be too bad.

You should just drink normally, i made the mistake of drinking a pint of water an hour before and i was in agony, on my 12 week scan i just had my normal cup of juice about 40 mins before and that was fine, infact i had to wait an extra hour so i was bursting by the time they saw me, so half an hour before will be fine x
