early scan result worries - embryo position

I had a intravaginal scan yesterday and all they could see was the yolk sac - my hcg is 3000 and getting another test tomorrow with another scan in 7 days. What they also said was that the yolkk sac was in the middle of the uterus and that it would be better if it was higher up - has anyone else had this?

I don't know either but what I have picked up from various posts is that early scans are incredibly difficult to interpret and what they say can sometimes sound worrying but it doesn't mean it is - they just don't know yet. How far along are you? I went to the doc yesterday about some brown cm and he said if I get anything else to book in a scan with a doc there who does them, but he didn't recommend doing that if nothing else shows up, as at 6 weeks it won't show much and could just lead to more worries if there isn't enough to see yet. Stay calm and take it as it comes, that's all you can do at this stage - it's great they are doing the hcg counts and you have the scan booked in - they should be able to tell you more with each appt

i thought i was 6 weeks but the scan yesterday makes me earlier - i had to have the scan as i had some bleeding - but to anyone out there I wouldn't recommend a early scan it is too unpredictable and stressful

Well being positive, you know it isn't ectopic anyway

hey, stay strong.. its still too early to tell anything.. i had my first scan on the 2nd of march.. and the scan showed my GS measured 1.94cm and and the GA 7 weeks although i thought i'd be a little lesser than that.. anyway the worrying part was only the sac could be seen, no foetus so im asked to return for another scan on the 12th this month.. i'm really hoping everything turns out normal.. can't help being a little paranoid cause i had a blighted ovum the first (previous) time i conceived..
