Do they confirm your pregnant at your booking appointment?

Im gonna sound really dumb now lol
But ive been to my booking appointment on the 6th feb & she did my bloods & urine test.
Would that have properly confirmed that im pregnant? Because i havn't heard back since then lol

Your booking appointment is to get you booked onto the hospitals system for your scans and any appointments you may need regarding your pregnancy!
Its not dumb huni. They should really have explained it all to you xx

Thanks lol yeah i was wondering though with my blood and urine being tested would they have contacted me by now if something was wrong?

If they dipped your urine then they may check on that. Im not 100% sure mind but when i was seen in hospital for bleeding in pregnancy they do the same urine test that midwifes and doctors do and they where able to tell me i was still showing psoitive. However i was never told at my booking appointment that i was still showing positive but then agagin they wouldnt need to. If you have had a positive test hun than of course you are. whens your scan?

No they don't - they say hpt are acurate enough, they do bloods for blood group, iron levels, HIV, sti's, uti's, and to got through your medical history xx

the test results take a few weeks to come back

I think it was about 4 weeks till i got my blood tests results in the post but i was toild if there was a problem i would be contacted sooner

Yeh ive took 5 tests & a clearblue and there all positive lol my scans on tuesday. Im a worrier though i was just hoping that everything was ok
