I'm Currently Feeling: | DH wants me to... leave my job this week.
I was planning anyway to resign but until I get a new job offer than has been pending for a while because they needed from me a certified document prior to the offer issuing process.
They said that the offer will be sent this week, which surely I cannot confirm that it will happen.
DH is insisting on my resigning. He is such an angel He was like "stay at home, rest, spoil yourself, and let me spoil you and our baby, you dont need to wake up early, neither get stressed now"
I don't really know. I think I might take his advice into consideration. I prepared the job resignation letter.. so who knows!
What sux is that I wake up 5 days a week at 6am and work from 7:30am until 3:30pm and I drive around 35-40min back and forth to work and back home. Is this a lot? DH thinks it is...
Anyway, will see what to do. Just thought of sharing what's happening with me nowadays |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Depending on your finacial situation, I would personally stay working for awhile longer... Its a nice thought to be able to sit at home and relax all the time, but you will likely get bored right now. I have alot of friends who have children already who eventually tired of being alone at home.
Plus you could be saving all the extra money for when you do have a baby!
Its up to you though. I just know I wouldnt be able to sit around for months. I plan to work as long as I can to get as much mat leave as I can because we definately cannot afford to live off one income. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think your oh sounds like a little angel!!
there are 2 ways to look at this...buut will depend on your own situation...
if you dont need the money and can cope without it then leave, if not and your oh is just being the true chivalrous gentlemen the think about if you can carry on working...
i know i hated my job and i couldnt wait to leave but its so true to say that once you have unless you have lots of friends who are not working and money to keep you occupied than you will get SOOO bored!!
however my friend left hr job at 6 weeks pregnant and loved every minute of it saying she will never returm to work as long as they are financialy stable!!
up to you honey!

I'm Currently Feeling: | You just have to consider what would happen if you don't get the new job? could you get another? (I know they can't disgriminate if you are pregnant but a lot of employers find ways of not hiring) And can you both manage financially without your income.
I'm not sure what a lot of hours are for the 1st trimester, I know I do a lot - I work 8 till 6 five days a week and I'm shattered, but I can't afford to cut back.
Do what you think is best |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm a stay-at-home mum & it's nice not to have to wake up early every morning. My daughter doesn't usually wake up til about 9.30-10, which is great for me! It depends entirely on your financial situation.. if you can afford to leave your job & you feel you need some time off then go for it. I get so tired when I have to get up at 7am (I sometimes give my fiance a lift to work) & I can't function without a nap. Pregnancy is so draining! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks girls.
Financially, is a no worry. DH's income is more than enough and we have all what we need like medical insurance, annual ticket, and other allowances.
So we arent worried about that.
On the other hand, the money I make is GOOD. I mean, it's worth it and though I am not that happy, the money covers it, so I dont care. These days even if the OH has great job, the woman should take advantage and work and like some of u said it is great to save for the little one coming.
Anyway, I will see what will happen in these coming 2 days. But I think I am resigning because the new offer is about to arrive. I got some other things from them but the offer is the one pending and yes I can search for something else if this doesnt happen and sadly my current company wont allow me to reduce my hours |

I'm Currently Feeling: | 7:30 till 3:30 is not that long. I've worked from 7:00 till 4:00 which is an hour longer with no lunch break throughout my pregnancy. Its only the last week or two that I've been struggling to concentrate for the whole time (which is why I now spend so much time on BnB).
It all depends on the sort of person you are. Personally if I had to stay at home while pregnant, I would get bored to death. Its a different story staying at home when you already have a child as they will keep you very busy. |
