She kept ringing me asking if she could tell "so and so from bingo" lol
I had to laugh at that! LOL My OH's mum doesn't even ask though, when we got engaged we called to tell her, by the time we rang his sister and the grandparent (literally five minutes later) they already knew!!
I told two close friends to start with as I wanted advice and they both have children. Now I have told a few more friends and OH has told his mum. But I dont want to tell my family yet as I know my mum will go over the top and I cant be doing with that right now, and so I dont feel I should make it general knowledge until she knows
We told our parents and siblings literally the evening we got the We couldn't keep it in. However we have told them all to keep it quiet until we have the first scan and know that everything is ok.
However my dad has turned out to be the worst one, he keeps asking me "Can i tell yor aunts...can i...can i" he is worse than the women sometimes
I told my mom at 6:30 in the morning (5:30 her time) Woke her up, DH woke his mom up shortly after. We did wait to tell friends though, until around 13 weeks.
Well we told both sets of parents yesterday & needless to day that everyone is thrilled, although i think his family would have preferred us to be married first. I'm still up and down on how i feel about the whole situation though. Probably hormones!
Uhm i told my mum and dad and OH parents right away, but i kinda of felt the need to since my mum will have to help me. Just told other people on Sunday but it kinda spread and EVERYONE knows ha ha ha ha!!
I told my husband on the day I found out and my mum at about 6 weeks. We then told my dad and hubbie's parents around about 8 weeks.
We didn't tell anyone else until 14 weeks after my scan! This includes B&B! I had a miscarriage last year and was very nervous about 'announcing' this pregnancy until after the scan.
Hey Poppy! *waves* well last night we told my OH's parents (he just had to tell someone or he was going to expode!! Bless him!) And i told my Mum this morning. I've decided to leave telling my girls until i've had my 16/20 week scan & probably everyone else at the same time. Its going to be very hard to keep it zipped for that long though! LOL
The only person we've told so far is my best friend! Who's livin in Canada for the year - so no fear of her gossiping! lol
Think we're going to tell my parents next week when they are home from holiday and DH parents to! Not sure about everyone else might wait till 12 weeks, but Im already bursting to tell them so probably wont be able to wait
