Bear in mind a 100 years ago people thought if you weren't married and giving birth by the time you were 20 you were on the shelf - a spinster.

It doesn't matter what other people - think it's your baby, and your body. And that body was designed for exactly this purpose. It's inbuilt. All you have to do trust your insticts

If its what you want hun, you can do it. You can do anything you want. There's more to being a mum than money. Don't let anyone tell you you're going to fail. You'll be a great mum i'm sure.

I was 17 when I had my son and although we didnt have much back then, my son had everything a baby needs..love! I adored him, I didnt care if I didnt have the latest designer handbag or couldnt have my hair done as often as I liked....what I felt for my son, the little thing I grew in my belly, was worth more.
I can tell you want to give your baby everything and you seem like you have your head screwed on and I think you will be a marvelous mommy!

You're going to hear this all of your life. "You will never be able to cope". Let me tell you one thing, I am 15 years old; I know how you feel about not being sure you can give the baby the best possible life.. And what you need to realize is you are this babys mother. There is no greater love in the entire universe than how much a mother loves her child/ren. Love and teaching your child the proper morals and values can never be replaced with finances or pretty things.
Just love your baby more than anybody in this world ever could, that's all s/he needs.

Hi I was 19 when i had my first my dad didnt talk to me for my entire pregnancy and my mam swore a lot when i told her but it didnt take long for her to click into granny mode as for me i went from being a crazy teen out on the town 4 nights a week to being a very sensible mum to be preparing my little nest for my baby i still went out occasionally but found that my priorities changed and when my little girl arrived i was in absolute heaven i couldnt believe she was mine my mam thought i wouldnt cope but i proved her very wrong as i am sure you will too x

I'm sure you're going to be a fantastic mummy!

I was 17 when I had my daughter & she's the best thing that ever happened to me. It's hard at times, but I just look at the beautiful little person I created & I consider myself so lucky.

Lots of young mums are much more capable than most people think.. we just have to ignore the stereotyping & prove them all wrong =)
