18th march.

at the EPU they wont scan or take HCG levels until 8 weeks.

which really annoys me, because if everything isn't ok, and i have to have the medical miscarriage again, i'll still be bleeding on my wedding day.

i hope to god everything is okay, but really...whats the chances?

Does your local hospital have a gynaecology department thats where i went for the emergency scan then had a further 2 at epau.
But i know what you mean about them being no help whatsoever when i went they were very negative towards me.
I honestly felt the same as you as in whats the chances i was determined at the weekend that i had m/c again.

no hospital in my local trust will do anything until 8 weeks, due to lack of funding.

i made a right scene in the EPU today, as they weren't willing to do anything.
i ended up having a specullum, and my cervix is closed, when she took it out there was blood on it.
atm its just pinky discharge.
hoping and praying, but not getting excited.
just going to try and turn my brain off for the next 20 days, and focus on wedding planning.

i just cant belive this is happening. i mean 2 pregnancies, 1 failed, another most probably failed. and i'm a healthy 19 year old. i just dont get why?!

thanks for your replys hun. xxxx

That happened with me with the speculum too i know how scary it is. I cant believe your trust is like that i thought that after 1 mc and if u have complications again they would scan you as thats what happened with me.
Is there no way you can possibly get ur doctor to push it for u to get u in earlier?
I mean with my bleeding its never in my urine always just there when i wipe sorry for TMI and i havent had cramps. So if yours is like this too it sounds promising if you know what i mean. They still have no idea whats causing mine.
I really hope all does go well for you its rubbish being in this situation

thankyou hun.

yeah mines just there when i wipe. and no clots or pain.

i really did blow up, i saw a sonographer, 2 midwifes, the consultant, and a manager today, and i begged pleaded, and tried to demand a scan or monitoring of HCG.
and they will not do anything until 8 weeks because of stupid funding.

i mean i know a scan or HCG monitoring cant promise anything, but it would at least tell me if its a BO or something.
i mean at 5+3they could scan me next week and see a heartbeat.
really fustrated.

Is there anywhere that does private scans where you live or are they very expensive? When did ur bleed start?
If it is lighter now thats got to be a good sign

Hey hun; I'm sorry to hear about the bleeding; got all my fingers crossed for you that everything is fine. I find it outraging that they won't give you a scan now; so I'm going to suggest something probably unethical but I think it's necessary... Basically I'd say fake pains on one of your ovary sides (say the pain is all over but much stronger on that side)- very strong pains blabla so they suspect an ectopic pregnancy (you already have some bleeding which can be a symptom too): then they have no choice but to give you a scan (as it's life threatening)!! Or go for a private scan, they range from £50-£80. Good luck!
