the nearest place is newcastle, which is a 2 hour train journey,
they are expencive but i would pay it for peace of mind.
however, if everythings not ok, i dont fancy the train ride home in tears and hysterics.
so i think i'd rather wait.

the bleed started today at about 2.45 went to the loo seconds before i had to be in a taxi, wiped, and it looked like pink stained CM, went to feel my cervix, and then there was blood, i had to dash out, but by 4 everything had stopped pretty much and it is just stained discharge now.

xxxxx

Basically I'd say fake pains on one of your ovary sides (say the pain is all over but much stronger on that side)- very strong pains blabla so they suspect an ectopic pregnancy: then they have no choice but to give you a scan (as it's life threatening)!! Good luck!
thankyou hun.

i did debate this before going in as i expected issues, but i didn't
however i think if the waiting game proves too hard, i will do this.

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I moan about my health trust, but at least they will give early scans if necessary, and my gp's are happy enough to do hcg blood tests. It is so hard to wait for confirmation of whether everything is ok or not, but the good news is your cervix is closed and the bleeding is lighter. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is ok for you.

Hi hun, so sorry to hear what you're going through. Obviously I realise there's a chance things aren't ok but wanted to tell you about my wk as hearing similar stories gave the reassurance and hope I needed to get me through to my scan today!

Basically on Monday I was 7 wks pregnant and I very suddenly started bleeding mid-morning as I was about to change my toddler's nappy. I ran to the loo and bright red blood litterally poored out of me, there was so much I was sure I was miscarrying again. EPU said to leave it til today to get scanned to give the mc time to pregress if that's what the bleeding was related too so i've been taking it v. easy all week to give our bubs the best chances. Basically the bleed tailed off soon after and was like a normal period for about an hr or two but after that had no more bleeding at all, but was still sure we'd get bad news at the scan today. However, we were wrong and whatever the bleed related to hadn't affected our little bubs in the slightest and everything was perfect today at the scan! We saw our little beanie and a beautiful HB and we're still in shock. So blood doesn't always mean bad news. Really hope you have a good outcome too, will be praying for you. Keep us posted.

xxxxxxxxxxxxx
