I had a chemical miscarriage at 5 weeks and went to the walk in Clinic to confirm the miscarriage, the doctor said I was never pregnant and that it was all in my head, when i said about all the different tests I had done, she said that they were lying too and something was wrong with the test. As you can imagine I was gutted and angry

So sorry for your loss

so sorry to hear about ur loss, laura. i had a worse experiance with my previous doc. i really didn't wanna go to him in the first place. i think he's above 80 years old now god only knows why he's still practising!! my mom and sister wanted me to see him when i had concieved for the first time last year around late july because my sister and cousins all have delivered with him before. we found out that i was pregnant way early when i was only around 12 days into it or so.. and this doc kept saying he wasn't happy with the baby's growth until i was 7 weeks plus.. he assured he'd make the fetus grow normally and gave me 3 injections every week!! 2 hormonal and 1 he called it booster. i took an ultrasound when i was 4 weeks plus and the lady there said she couldn't spot anything inside me and wanted to wait anyway since it was my first pregnancy and i was still early.. i was devastated when she asked me "are u sure ur doc told u that u were pregnant?".. anyway.. i was spotting for one month and was advised strict bed rest. and soon after the 7th week i started bleeding more.. and only after the second ultrasound the doc confirmed that i was having a miscarriage. it was a blighted ovum and he didn't explain that to me until the end!!! i've gained hell of a lot weight since. i became a size 16 from 12 in just coupla months and i personally blame all those boosters he gave me!!

anyway, now i got my BFP on the 21st late night. i'm not seeing my new doc until the 2nd of march and i'm so excited. i'm praying with all my heart that it'll be a healthy pregnancy this time!!! i think im about 2 weeks now, that's all.

also could someone please tell me how to get back to the thread i've already been to? im very new here and a little confused about using the forums :P i dont even know how to get back to this same thread once i'm out!!

I agree with the first post. I am so sorry for your loss...but from the way you fought for your baby, it sounds like you are going to be such a wonderful mother someday.

Laura I am so sorry for your loss luv. God I feel so awful for you girls living in the UK, from what I read on here it sounds like your healthcare system is just the pits. You do not deserve to be treated like that for any reason.
If it makes you feel better at all, there isn't anything you can do to stop a miscarriage - if your babes is not healthy, or the body decides it can not support the pregnancy, the miscarriage will happen regardless of whether you lie down or go for a run. I know it doesn't make your loss any easier, but at least you know that just by loving your unborn babes, you did everything you could for him/her.
Lots of support for you over in miscarriage support luv, if you feel like checking it out.

xoxo
Pea
