BOOBIES!!!

Hi everyone sorry for the topic of conversation BUT..........

I have had sore boobies since before i found out but for past 3 days they are absolutely killing me like i cant touch them and have to hold them still when i go up the stairs etc is this normal?
I have quite big boobies before BFP i was 38F so maybe changed sizes now not sure though.
Also wanted to know whether everyone is wearing their normal bras or whether you have bought maternity ones and are just normal non underwired ones just as good or do maternity do something extra special?
Thanks ladies and really appreciate you all reading.

Lou

I'd wait a bit before spending loads on bras, sometimes they go back to normal after the first weeks. I was like this too, they really really hurt and I had to sorta hold them when I moved. But it is a good idea to buy maternity bras if you're gonna breastfeed, just be careful about the size because they migh grow even more when the milk comes.

Before I got pregnant with my first I was a size D-DD but now I'm GG-H.

I've gone from a 32 DD-E to a 32FF. I was trying to wait to buy a bra but it was just too uncomfy so I got a new one even though it might not last long. I feel massive - how big are they gonna get!!??!! lol.

Mine were never that bad, as far as I can remember anyway. They did keep me up a few times because I couldn't get comfy in the first tri. Since then I've been just fine.

"Every pain is a gain." Atleast if they're hurting you know they're doing something, right?

I get sore boobies too, sometimes very sore. I am only small chested 30c but I've been wearing 32B bras for quite some time as they are easier to find. last week my 32B bra was far too painful to wear so I've got a 32C bra my biggest ever! I am already filling it though... Matertiny bras tend to have a detachable cup so it's easier to breast feed a lot of women find non-wired bras easier during pregnancy as the wire can hurt... however that is from experience selling bras rather than my own personal experience!

I bought maternity bras at 10 weeks. The lady said that you should be re-measured at 16 weeks, then again at 27 weeks (I think thats right!!). She was really lovely and I ended up with the same size as normal (they had shrunk back to my normal size by then), but the support is in the right place to help with any aches and pains. I always wear padded bras, and these are so difficult to find in a maternity range! I finally found them in Marks and spencer and they are fantastic. I really would invest in a couple - they may not last long, but they really are worth it.
