Feeling better

After a threatened miscarraige last weekend, things are now looking much better. I had a scan during the week and saw a strong heartbeat, and we were so relieved. They did however find a large fibroid, which could have caused the cramps, I was told by the consultant that this shouldn't cause a problem.
Pains have gone, bleeding has stopped and I'm feeling much better! Though i'm still taking it easy ..... as I do get the odd twinge and dull cramp.

Almost 12 weeks now, yesterday I had to buy a larger pair of jeans as nothing fits anymore, I tried on maternity clothes but couldn't bring myself to buy anything without a bump yet.

I've got my consultant meeting and dating scan in 2 weeks, so hopefully fingers crossed all will be looking good.

That is a relief. Try to find maternity pants that will grow with you and you can wear after baby is born until your tummy is back to normal.

my mum had fibroids when she had my brother, her first baby. A few that were quite big. They removed them after he was born. She was fine with him whilst pregnant though and had a normal labour.
