I'm Currently Feeling:  | Midwife?!
Okay just wondering when do you see them for the first time?
I did a couple of tests last week and got positive, went to the doctor and he just said if i have missed a period and got positive i am pregnant and gave me folic acid!
he didn't realy tell me anything else, like what happenes next etc.
So I don't know whether they contact me or I contact them or what?! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Wait untill 8 weeks and if they don't contact you, you contact them. That's what I had to do. You should see a midwife at around 10 weeks. |

| I would phone your gp surgery and find out if you need to book the appointment with her yourself or if she will contact you. I had to book my own and saw her at about 7-8 weeks, good luck and congrats xx |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I saw my doc and then they wrote to me with a date to see the midwife. I saw my midwife at about 8 weeks x |

| I don't get to see a midwife until after my 12 week scan, they contacted me and gave me an appointment.
I think it depends very much on the area that you live in! |
