left hip/pelvic bone...

is giving me some pain!!
When it starts its like a constant ache, my right side is fine, it's just my left side the hurts :/
Its not like the pains I go before that were like AF pains, or the ones that felt like my pelvic bones were being pushed apart, it's TOTLEY different.
Anyone else had/having this? Its just the oneside thats aching

I have the same thing!! It feels like your hip bone is being pushed out of the way. Lots of pressure and aching. Mine is just on the left side too and sometimes it gets worse and I feel pressure on my pelvic bone too. I find that it acts up more if I do too much. If I workout too much or just don't sit down enough through the day. My doctor said it's normal so i wouldn't worry. I was worried when it first started cause I thought it might be and eptopic pregnancy but apparently its pretty common in the first trimester. I remember from my last pregnancy that it spread out to both hips when I hit my second trimester and started putting on weight. yay! LOL Oh well, it's a small sacrifice for what we get at the end! Good luck!

I won't let me post my ticker yet because i'm new so io just thought that i would add that I'm almost 7 weeks!

It sounds like you have pelvic girdle pain to me. I'm having major hip and pelvis problems and in fact I have just got back from the Physio. Basically there isn't a lot that can be done, in my case I have a hip injury that had not entirely healed when I got pregnant. As your ligaments loosen during pregnancy it can make your hips unstable. The Physio has recommended that I use heat (I have a heat pad although one of those wheatgrass cushions you put in the microwave would also do the job) you can also buy a support belt which keeps your hips stable, it's almost like a girdle the pressure keeps your hips in the right place. If you get pain at night I would recommend putting a duvet under or over the top of your sheet for extra cushioning - this has worked for me. I also have a maternity support cushion with I put between my legs at night. There are various ones on the market - the Dream Geenii is supposed to be excellent but it was too expensive for me. I got mine from Mothercare for £22.99 after the baby is born I will be able to use it as a breast feeding cushion.

Hope this helps - pm me if you want any more info x
