I had a heartbeat at 8+1 on a tummy scan. Good luck with your scan.

An internal scan is not painful at all, andwhen I asked about risk the sonographer said there was no risk at all. I did get a photo with both of my early scans, ask when you go in so they know you want one! I went with full bladder and then when i had to have an internal scan, i had to empty it! Good luck and I look forward to hearing how you get on xx

We saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks even through tummy scan. I couldn't see what doc was seeing but she was very convincing.
