I'm Currently Feeling: | I shouldn't worry about it too much. I also lost loads of weight before finding out I was pregnant and found that all I wanted to eat in the first few weeks of being pregnant was carbs and chocolate. Also, like you was a complete gym freak doing 5-6 classes a week and walking 3 - 4 miles a day. This all stopped as I had no energy at all!
I have found as the weeks have gone by, and I've started to feel a bit more 'human', my need for all the bad stuff has calmed right down, and I now want lots of veggies and fruit. I can also manage alot more walking and a few classes a week again! It will all balance out in the long run honey. Don't beat yourself up about it! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Top tips for filling snacks ( I am a part time personal trainer so get asked this a lot! and I also know exactly where you're coming from cos I am bloody starving all the time as well!)
Sweet tooth - grapes, melon, banans, strawberries with either plain or low fat yoghurt with a sprinkling of pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds on top
Savoury tooth - crackers, carrot sticks with hummus
If you have the energy have a go at making some healthy flapjacks or muffins (if you have time to experiment you can make them really healthy - loads of recipes on internet - have managed to make sugar free muffins that tasted just fine)
Hope that gives you a few ideas

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks I have brought in lots of fruit to work and have the carrots with Hummus so I shall see how I go today.
I am not really much of a baker so may have to look in the shops for low fat cakes.
What exercise can I do. I have been advised at the moment to do nothing as I have PID I have a scan on Wednesday to check Heart Beat as there was nothing there on Monday. When I am allowed to exericse what is best to do and for how long? x |

Personally, I'd wait until your scan next week to make sure baba is OK. I'd then run it past my doctor, or who you discuss the scan results with.
I found walking to start off with to get me feeling a bit fitter again (it's amazing how quickly you start to feel sluggish!), and now I'm doing a step class, aerobics and body conditioning, BUT I am keeping it really low. Frustrating, but necessary. Also, now I'm not allowed on my back for long, no sit ups so have been doing a few weights, but not over the head. This is what I've made up after talking to my class teachers, but I'm no expert! Over to Rach321 for that!
Good luck. Hope you start to feel better soon! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks, Well i walked to work this morning which was nice. I am def not doing anything until I have my scan as when I asked her about doing exercise she said not to do any at the moment. I think eatting less rubbish will help me also. I am going to do some swimming when I can get better but I don't want to over do it. Step classes sound fun! Thanks for the advice x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My godsend of a snack is Ryvita crackers, they're good with anything and also contain a lot of roughage! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Real pregnancy cravings dont usually start until later in the pregnancy. You should not eat huge meals in the beginning, or stuff your face. You should just continue eating small portions regularly. Eat lots of fruits and veggies.
I find grapes are actually good to eat. You cant scarf them down so quick, so they help you fill up a bit more.
As for excersizing, anything low impact is safe... walking, swimming, yoga (they have prenatal yoga)... |
