When is it safe again....

I had bleeding at 6 weeks pregnant and got told to rest as much as possible and to not have any sex for a few weeks, that was 3 and a half weeks ago and i have had no more bleeding. Do you recon its safe to have sex again, what would you ladies do? xx

Just be really gentle and try not to let him "cum" in you as the semen can irritate the cervix (that's it's job)

I've read so many views on this & seen so many threads with ladies saying there so scared, which is totally understandable, but i have to give you my point of view. Sorry if to much info but it has to be said lol. My last period was Dec 19th. Once finished, me & my other half had sex xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day, couple days after that, the 29th, 30th, 1st and after that i've lost count lol. I got my bfp on 13th Jan & we have sex pretty much whenever we like. We don't live together yet so its not every night, but to be honest when we do see eachother we make up for it, we won't just have sex the once, if the moods takes us we'll do it 2-3 times. Neither of us have ever considered it an issue. I've found in recent weeks, certain positions are becoming a bit uncomfortable but luckily my boyfriend is brillaint and knows exactly how to alter it ,eg change position, not penetrate as deep or just go slower. So in my own opinion, sex hasn't been a problem for us at all. I guess it just depends of how comfortable you feel doing it, if your full of worry, your never going to be able to relax & it just isn't going to happen. But if possible, of you can put all thoughts of worry aside & just enjoy it like you normally do, just as you did before you were pregnant then you'll sail through it hope this helps..

I just wish I could stop puking long enough to want to do it. I'm hoping that once the MS wears off we'll be making up for lost time!!

I don't want my DH anywhere near me at the moment, I am barely able to hug him for long before the stretching makes me feel sick! Bless him...

May i just add, if you have had a bleed or some frequent bleeding your bound to be a lot more worried & concerned than i have been. I haven't bled once, not even implantation bleeding so i can understand your concern in comparison to mine.

Thanks ladies, I had a midwife appointment today, and she says it is safe to now. I just feel very nervous about it, even though i want to. I just fear the worst will happen i guess. x

Ha! I'm not even allowed to think about having sex until this fetus is born. Because I am high risk, dr said it was a big no no to do it! I miss it already and it's only been 3 weeks
