Hi ladies, i got my bfp yesterday, so will be moving over here from the ttc thread.

I also have a question, the line on my hpt seems so faint compared to the control line, i tested yesterday at 12dpo with afternoon pee and got a faint positive, i then tested this morning after holding my pee for 4 hours but it is still faint, will it take a few days for it to darken, i am worried af will show up tomorrow

I got my BFP at 12DPO with a faint line on a FRER..and also a CB dig in the afternoon. I tested again this morning at 14 DPO with the same type of FRER and the line came back a lot darker than than the one at 12 DPO. If you are worried, I'd give it another 2 days to test again.. I bet it gets darker!

Congrtulations!!! HCG usually takes about 48 hours to double. Test again in a couple of days using the same brand of test and that should reassure you.

Thanks ladies i hope it does get darker, i am testing tomorrow morning after holding my pee all night so hope it is darker. This test i have been using is 8-10miu, but i also did another kind of test which is 25miu this morning and yesterday afternoon and it showed up on that all though it was really faint and the line was thin

mine was extremely faint i dont even know how i seen mine. but got darker over a few days. i havent even seen my test with a dark control line

Thanks that is reassuring!

what reassured me was a digi test, expensive but sooo reassuring. i found it hard to believe it all until i saw the little sucker in an ultrasound.

just remember - u can get false negatives, but u cant get false positives coz it means there is HCG in your wee. (u can obviously get evaps, but if your faint line comes in the time frame, its pretty safe to say "YAY!")

I tested 12dpo and got a faint positive with FRER then tested again 13dpo and got a slightly darker line. Also did Boots own test and got a faint line. Was due AF yesterday so gonna book a drs appointment for next week!!
