Saw my baby today at my early scan. All is looking good at the moment, right place and everything, saw little flicker of the heartbeat so that was pretty cool. Just praying that everything stays ok! So surreal because apart from what i call hunger nausea and funny bowels, i've not really got any concrete symptoms as such and so i kind of felt like is there really anything there?! well there definately is so

congrats hun. I have the phone number to have an early scan and my midwife said i should go if I wanted, but I am too scared. She couldnt find the heartbeat with the doppler thingy... Is it scary would you recoomend it?

How exciting! I had mine on monday and it was suc a relief to see everything was ok. Promised my OH this would stop me stressing but as you know I think Ill stress all the way though to some point!

nemmie, it was a regular ultrasound and apart from the fear of anything and everything being wrong, it's provides such a relief by giving you the knowledge of what is going on. So, not actually scary!! have had an internal in the past for my m/c but that wasn't scary so much as i knew what was going to be.
