Heartburn :/

Just a rant...
I wasn't expecting to have this until much later on but I'm getting it alot! Doesn't matter how much or how little I eat or what I get it every meal time plus in between as well Its not often I have fizzy pop, tend to just have water, milk and fruit juice atm.

It is driving me mad first I couldn't enjoy meals because of MS now I can't because of heartburn :/

hiya im poppin over from 3rd tri, seen ur post and thought id comment on it!
im still sufferin with it now, id never had it before until i got pregnant and its absolutely awful.
gaviscon and stuff like that are safe just make sure u read the label before hand.
if its still really bad then u can get stronger stuff off your doctor.
nothin at all worked for me im afraid, the only thing ive found that does soothe it is rennies soft mints.
ive had to proper cut out loads of different foods, drinks, youl be suprised what can give u heartburn, i cant have anything fizzy which is probably an obvious thing but certain flavour juices give me really bad heartburn aswel.
ive also found that i get it worse at night when im in bed so i have to prop myself up ona few pillows so that im not lay flat and have found i only get heartburn wen i sleep on the right side. its awful.

its like a trial and error process, findin out what gives it you and what doesnt.

milk helps, and ice cream and yogurt help to soothe it =)

I have this too, but not horribly severe. I was drinking a lot of orange juice and I had to cut it out of my diet because it was making the heartburn a lot worse. Apples are supposed to be good for heartburn... no idea why.

does anyone know about any other remedies or foods to avoid?

they say avoid anything really acidy like oranges and fizzy drinks.
but iv found that certain diluted juices and certain foods u think wouldnt caused me to have heartburn. also a cup of tea gives me heartburn REALLY bad! so ive lived without my brews for months =(!
i think that different things cause heartburn for different people.

your best of just notin what u eat or drink and what doesnt give u heartburn and what does.

i though once baby dropped down that it would relieve and id not get this but im still getting it just as bad =(!
x
