Working on your feet all day...

Hey ladies!

Just wondered if your job consists of you working on your feet all day, and when you are planning to give up work?
x

Hi

I'm a secondary school science teacher so I'm on my feet most of the day. I'm planning to work until the end of the academic year. Good luck xx

I'm a student nurse and bank auxilliary nurse, I'm just about to start the last of my clinical placements in March and will be on my feet all day for 12+ hours 4 days a week. I'm planning on getting some really good shoes lol I finish up at the end of August so hopefully i can stop then if I have no hours to make up.

I'm constantly on my feet all day long in my job, walking around all the time. I haven't really thought about when i want to work until, it's still sinking in i think! x

With my first I was working as a waitress. I didn't stop working until my 37th week. I might just be a little crazy, though!

I don't work on my feet in this pregnancy, just my butt - lol - but I did with my first two babies pregnancies. I was a lifeguard/swim instructor and it involved lots of standing, lifting, pulling, jumping in and rescuing people (not matter how big they were). It was tough. I didn't work past 19 weeks with my son (for unrelated reasons) and I worked until 34 weeks with my daughter!!! (which is quite the feat because I had her only three weeks later). It can be done, but it isn't easy, so if you can get out of it, I would.

I was the same, I worked in retail with my first and didnt stop till they kicked me out at the very end! We are one a farm now and I work in the packing shed on my feet all day, I will go as long as it is comfortable for me, I was way younger than I am now with my first pregnancy, so I may give in a tad earlier this time!
