funny pain

Hiya, today I had to take down a lot of signage in my shop. I know i should have used a step for some of the high up ones, but most of them came off easy. However i came to some that were really difficult to get down and on the first one i didnt realise quite how difficult and i grabbed it pulled it swung on it a bit and felt like i pulled a muscle or something in my belly. I decided to leave the other ones at that height and just do what i could after a few mins the pain in my belly had gone and i thought nothing of it. I have done similar things already since finding out... i really should be more careful. In fact the day before I found out i was pregnant we did a full store move and all I could think of was how lucky the girl who is pregnant at work was, as she had a prior engagement, I thought there is no way in hell a pregnant woman can do this! I think that is why I am convinced something is wrong with my own pregnancy but anyhoo.... back to where I was.... The pain went away and now an hour and half later I have a sharp pain down there to the left hand side it switched between my pelivic region and my thigh joint thingy. Anyone else ever felt it ? I have had no bleeding in several days and I was just about getting hopeful that things were alright and now this weird sharp pain. I have my midwife appoint very early on wednesday, so I dont think there is any point me making a doc's appointment or anything like that so anyone else felt this?

I'm just a little further on than you are and from the sounds of it been having a similar pain, mines not consistantly there but is there now and again, I am hoping its just all to do with things expanding for bean. I have been contacting places to try and get an early scan rather than having to wait till I am 12 weeks to know that everything is ok this far.

I read something earlier which made me think, i need to start enjoying my pregnancy as if anything does go wrong we cant blame ourselves it isnt something which we have done wrong but just natures way.

My doctor has been talking to me about an early scan when I last went in to see her, as I was having spotting early on. My HCG levels were taken and they were "very high" but then i got further spotting so they are going to run a few more tests and then get back to me on the scan date. I thought its my usual aches and pains from streching at first but this is much lower down is that where yours is? maybe its something to do with how our bodys change at this sort of time? My doc is possibly thinking I am further on than I am due to my levels or that I'm just producing a lot of hormone, unless its erm ... not one... but thats a thought thats vey scary so i'm not thinking about that!:P I had problems on the pill so I think she is taking special care with me for some reason... it's unusual and worring as usually my doctor and I don't get on!... so having her take so much interest in my case is just making me more worried... I am enjoying it though... "OH i want a drink" "hunny can you get me" "yuk I dont like this can you get it away from me pretty please" and I dont even have to sleep with him for all this attention! hahahaha

lol i have to say my OH has been really good as well, fetching me a drinks other things i have fancied. the pains do sound as though they are in the same place as yours on my right mid-lower part of stomach. i have to say i think that the NHS should bring in an earlier scan than 12 weeks i think an 8 week scan would be ideal and would keep a lot of people from stressing about whats going on.

I agree so much it would save so many upsets at 12 weeks if they do find something wrong as well I think as 12 weeks isthe sort of "safe" stage where you arent as panicy and are probably in a worse mind set to be able to handle bad news. yea mine is a bit lower down near my privates and on the left but sounds similar. Looks like it could be normal then phew back to being chirpier... gosh I'm in a chatty mood today... think I need to change my "currently feeling" thingie!
