I'm Currently Feeling: | i did a massive presentation on this (i'm a student nurse) as this i feel really strongly about!! If only i could show u.
Its prob best to give up and is loads of support around u but u've also done the right thing in cutting down!
(sorry if ive put a big downer on things this is just something i feel very strongly about!)
good luck in quitting!! x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My mum also smoked cigarettes and waccy baccy throughout all her four pregnancies and we turned out fine but its the luck of the draw i reckon....
I have never smoked so i wouldnt know how hard it is to give up but if i did, and something was wrong with the baby, i would feel sooo guilty..... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I used to smoke for a long time but gave up about 4 months ago when started TTC I did not want anything to happen to baby, I know people say well my mum did it with me but I could really not live with myself if I did anything to my little one. Well done to everyone that is quitting though it is hard but does get so much easier xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was a heavy smoker when I got my BFP a couple of weeks ago - smoked 20-30 a day!!
Took me 2 days to quit after getting BFP and Im now a non smoker, even my DH is quitting (and wont smoke in the same room as me anymore). I kept telling myself that it was "life" or "death" as smoking is a known cause of miscarriage and I would never forgive myself it I did miscarry whilst smoking!
Even if the baby is fine, they are more likely to have asthma and other respiratory problems later in life if you smoke through pregnancy!!
Believe me it wasnt that difficult to quit, knowing I could hurt my baby, even having been a smoker for over 15 years!
It comes down to whats more important to you - an addictive, horrid habit, or the welfare of your baby - for me there was absolutely no comparison!! |
