GemGems is panicking.......again!!!

Hello!! Yes, its me again.......panicking!!!

My second missed period is due now and i've had a very slight brown tinge (no blood) to my discharge. Would this be normal considering i would be mensturating right now if i wasn't pregnant??

I'm just a bit worried coz its happening at the same time that things went wrong in my last pregnant

HEEEEEEELP PLEASE!!!! XXXXXXXXXXX

I dont know as i have had nothing but try not to worry as that isnt going to do or LO any good.....as long as there is no thick blood or pain it could just be some old lining or old blood (as above).....good luck...x

Sounds like old blood to me as well. But if it will help you not to worry you should go ahead and give your MW a call, they are here to help reassure us

Old blood is fine. On my early scan they detected a bleed in my uterus but I hadnt actually had any bleeding. They told me if I had any brown blood it was the bleed coming away - it sometimes comes out or can be reabsorbed into your system. Mine was reabsorbed but you dont need to frett about brown blood.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I'll keep an eye on it and contact the midwife if it gets any worse.

Like others have said, brown blood is old blood. Also, some women have a bit of bleeding when they would have expected a period.

However, if you are concerned, or if the bleeding gets worse, you should contact your Early Pregnancy Unit to see if they can put your mind at rest. At your stage, they should be able to get you in for an early scan.
