| grrrrrr to the NHS Had quite bad cramps yesterday and some spotting and so clearly was a little worried. Went to see my GP and was told by the receptionist I needed to go see my midwife. Went to see midwife and after waiting for an hour for her to show up, I was told she wasnt comin in til later but I could speak to her over the phone! Explained the situation and she basically said that the EPU wouldnt accept a referral unless you were 'practically haemorrhaging'.
Anyway managed to find somewhere to do a private scan this afternoon at 3.45 and am currently swinging between terrified and excited!
Looking ont he positive front...what did people see at a scan about now?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hope all goes well for you babes. I had a scan at 7 weeks and there was a tiny flickering heart beat. I was about 11 mm long. Not much to see, but enough to give you peace of mind!!
Will be thinking of yo - let us know how it goes x x |

Looking ont he positive front...what did people see at a scan about now?? | Awful isn't it
EPU will take in a referral if your a bit later in pregnancy or have experienced an ectopic or loss in the past.
If your in any servere pain that makes you curl over they SHOULD see you without a doubt.
At 7 weeks you only see a dot but you can see a heartbeat ... Attached a 7 week scan (I was spotting at the time btw)
Best of luck x |
