I'm Currently Feeling: | ..Can You.. Have more than the two scans that they offer you?
Ive had my "12 week" scan early, at 10 weeks,
And I dont get another till 20 weeks,
Is there anyway you can ask for another in between them two times? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Usually they'll only do those two scans, unless there is a reason to do another (i.e. past history of losses, etc.). You can get private scans done, but you have to pay for those. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Theres no serious reason that I should need it done,
Just being abit impatient,
I cant really see much on this one,
Too excited about it & I want another |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Completely understand
We had a 13 week, and a 20 week, and are paying for a 3D/4D scan at 27-28 weeks |

I'm Currently Feeling: | same 4 me, i had 8 week one and they won't give me a 12week one now. have to wait til 20 weeks. There was very little to see at 8 weeks and they didnt even offer me a pic but i have made a private appointment for my 12 week scan and it will cost £95. It think its worth it for the peace of mind. have a look in google for your area thats how i found mine. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have to wait till 13 weeks to even see my LO and know if it has a heartbeat I mean I'm glad I didn'thave to have earlier ones because that would have meant something might be wrong ... but the waiting sucks.
My new doctor however is giving me a blood test next week, firstly to confirm I really am pregnant (in case 3 pee stick tests were a result of my imagination) and to test for iron and things.
You can have more scna if you go private but no idea the cost. I guess it's a leap of faith, you just have to learn to trust your body. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i had an early one at 7 weeks so no 12 week one for me either!! I wanted the NT scan done which is not standard on the NHS so I had that at 13 weeks but obv had to pay (£190).
Obv the NHS is restricted by funds so once you've been dated they dont do another until 20 weeks which is fair enough given how skint they are!
Have a look on Google. Depending on where you are you might find a reasonable priced 3D reassurance scan. I'm also paying for one in 3 weeks and thats £65 which I dont think is outrageous.
